Firm, targeted recovery massage for runners, gym-goers and athletes — with stretching included, at your home or office.
Reduces tightness and heavy legs after hard sessions.
The therapist checks how you move and works what is holding you back.
No bus ride on freshly worked legs — shower and put your feet up.
A mobile sports massage in London is a firm, specific treatment for people who train. Your therapist works the muscles you load most — calves, hamstrings, quads, glutes, hips, back, shoulders — using deep stripping strokes, compression, cross-fibre friction and assisted stretching, after checking how you move. Then, instead of travelling home, you shower and rest.
The session starts with questions about your training load, upcoming events and any pain, followed by a quick movement screen. The therapist then targets the areas that need it and finishes with stretching to restore range. Sixty minutes covers legs and lower back or shoulders and upper back; ninety covers the whole system.
| Situation | Timing |
|---|---|
| Regular training, 3–5 sessions a week | Every 2–3 weeks |
| Marathon or half-marathon build | Fortnightly, lighter session 3–5 days before race day |
| After a race or event | 48–72 hours afterwards |
| Strength or CrossFit block | Every 2–3 weeks, shoulders, hips and forearms |
Do not book a deep sports massage the day before a race. Race week should be lighter and earlier, so your legs feel fresh rather than tender on the start line.
Runners, cyclists, lifters, five-a-side players, climbers, anyone doing regular classes — “sports” describes the technique, not an entry requirement. If your tension comes from a desk, our deep tissue massage is the better fit. Training partners often book back-to-back sessions. Read more in our guide to the benefits of sports massage therapy.
Book a mobile sports massage — from £100.
No. If you train regularly in any way and feel tight, a sports massage will help.
£100 for 60 minutes, £120 for 90 minutes and £140 for 120 minutes, including travel and equipment.
Sports therapists work on tight or overloaded tissue and support recovery, but do not diagnose. If something is acute or worsening, see a physiotherapist first.
Mild tenderness for up to 24 hours is normal after a deep session. Drink water, eat protein and keep the next day easy.
